Known as "Gooders" or "The Swede" or "Gooderersonn". neal holds the record for having the most nicknames. Neal is a fashion icon in every sense of the word. T.C. was previously unchallenged but we wonder if there will be room on the tour, we ask ourselves, for these two giants of style. Well at least we would be asking ourselves if we could be bothered to. A recent trip to Thailand has resulted in the purchase of Thai made trousers and shirts specifically designed and choreographed for the next Gritters tour. The pink trousers with matching accessories were a high spot. A great conversationalist and wit, Neal is an obvious and welcome choice for the tour. If only he would stop winning so much. Tour Wins: Two (yes, we know, two out of two). A brilliant first outing, a popular and well deserved first win. Will he ever repeat it? Or has he blown all his stash on the first attempt? 2009 Form The form looked good. With scores of 34,36, 37, 37, 34, 28 and 36 Neal was again leading all the way. A final tired 25 at Tadmarton had just enough in it. An eagle at the par five fifth followed by birdie at the 6th meant that he tied on 26 under with Darrell. The back nine countback rule meant that Neal had won his second Gritters Tour. A feat that most of us can only dream about. |
2010 Outlook: Will be an unknown until around the fourth round when the tiredness and deprivation kick in. Has a naturally competitive nature though and won't give up easily. He does however have a note from his mum that says that he can stay out late. Can he win three in a row? The smart money says that he probably can. |
