2009 Form Opened with a reasonable 30 points and followed it with 29 and 33. The dent came at Freslonnierre where a paltry 23 was posted. This meant that the title was probably now beyond his grasp but Winny's golf is explosive, crowd pleasing and high scoring, so anything could happen. 28 points at Dinard was followed by the best round of the week, a 35 pointer at Val Andre. The closing 24 put Winny into joint last place. He was aved by the back nine countback rule and finished 10th. In addition to golf, Winny finds blasphemy a rewarding and sometimes quite satisfying hobby. |
2010 Outlook “The spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where my putter is” is Steve's Marching song. Who knows what 2010 will bring?Is he the wisest man on tour or has he missed the point? Only time will tell. In summary, a confident outlook and some new grips will take him far, but will it be far enough? |
